Acrylic Frame News

Acrylic blocks are the latest spectacular for displaying images and photos. Acrylic desktop blocks are the latest in the ever increasing popularity of acrylic products for the home and office.
Acrylic blocks differ from the usual style of acrylic frames. The original style of acrylic photo frames is traditionally held in place by metal standoffs where as acrylic blocks have been designed without any metal fixings and are specifically for sitting on a desktop or shelf.

Acrylic blocks are super transparent and are usually 20mm thick and are diamond edge polished. The clarity of the acrylic block gives the image mounted to it a three dimensional look. The image is facemounted onto the back of the acrylic block with a jetmounter laminator. This style of mounting is called cold mounting lamination. The image is printed onto high quality 280 gsm photographic paper and then fixed to the acrylic with with an incredibly thin transparent sheet. The laminator sheet and image is pressed through the jet-mounter laminator to give it a permanent fix. Once the laminating is complete the image will last a lifetime. Acrylic sheets unlike glass are shatterproof and the image will be fade resistant for over 75 years.

Acrylic blocks are the perfect gift for any occasion including weddings, Anniversaries, Christenings and Birthdays. For large orders the blocks can often be engraved with a personal message. If you are looking to order a high quality personal gift then acrylic blocks are the perfect product.
